NiteRider TL 5.0 SL Tail Light

Available on AMAZONĀ  The NiteRider TL 5.0 SL tail light. Long name, simple light. It’s got a few flashy settings to make sure you are visible to vehicles. I got it to replace my 20 year old tail light that finally disintegrated. Here it is, fresh out of the box. I’m going to use it first for running in the pre-dawn darkness on the highways and rec paths of Utah County. NiteRider TL 5.0 SL Tail Light Video Introduction

    Black Diamond Spot Headlamp

I recently purchased a new Black Diamond Spot headlamp. This new one is rectangular and has 200 lumens of light power. AFAIK right now it’s only available at REI, but soon you will be able to get it everywhere BD lights are sold. It’s about 40% stronger than my previous favorite headlamp, the old Spot. The morning after this video I took it for a training run, 11+ miles in the pre-dawn blackness. Here’s a video where I introduce it. Black Diamond Spot Headlamp Introduction

    Flagstaff VK Tshirt Reveal

Got my shirt from the Flagstaff VK a couple weeks ago, but it took a while to get around to making this box opening video. Well, envelope opening. So here you go, my Flagstaff Skyrace Tshirt out of the wrapper. When I registered on that Friday morning they told me there was some confusion in the shirt order and that they would be available for pickup at the store in Flagstaff at 3 PM, about 3 hours after the run. I had to get back home for a cyclocross race the next morning, so it would be really difficult to make that pickup and then get home much before 2…
