Training Peaks custom workout on Zwift Running + Stryd

I’ve been working my power zones in Stryd, trying to adjust my stats to suit the training I need to do for my upcoming event. Today I created a custom pace-based workout in Training Peaks and synced it to Zwift Running. I was way off in the effective watts, but it was still a good workout. Then I set the treadmill to 22% and hiked to see what the effect on power in the Stryd Droid App would be. For more check out https://www.sevensummitsbody.com Powered by WPeMatico

Zwift Fit File Crash Recovery Demonstration

If Zwift or your PC crash while riding, you can save the .fit file Zwift stores in the back end. While you can’t import it back into Zwift, you can upload it to Strava (and others – though we demonstrate Strava here). You have to repair the file which was damaged by the crash first. Here’s how I do that. YMMV. Check out more at https://www.sevensummitsbody.com Powered by WPeMatico

Stryd Dashboard – using the Analyze tab

The Stryd App syncs your Stryd footpod to your Stryd account online, where you can log in to view your stats in your dashboard. First of all, each workout is shown in the Analyze tab, where you can view your stats up close and personal. In this video I show you a few of the data points you can view, and a little information about how I use the data. Zwift Quick How-To – Pair and Select Route

Starting Zwift. Pairing your trainer and sensors. Selecting a route. Starting to ride. Just a very short video demonstration of how to do all that when you first start riding. After a glitch with a dead battery in my Garmin Cadence Sensor I got all paired up and started riding London Classique – a classic route if ever there were one. BTW: I did 8 laps tonight for 27+ miles of London fun. Remember to Check out https://www.sevensummitsbody.com/ and https://elbrusraceteam.blogspot.com/ today! Powered by WPeMatico

Can You Use Stryd in the Snow? Check this out …

My plans for Saturday changed suddenly when I needed to give my wife and daughter a ride to the University of Utah gymnastics meet that afternoon. My wife asked if I could do Olympus in that time. I doubted it, but figured I could do Grandeur, a peak at the junction of Wasatch Blvd and I-80 and much closer to the UofU campus. Standstill Traffic on I-15 in Salt Lake City It had snowed a lot in the few days previous. Salt Lake City was nearly shut down by the storm. I checked Strava and found that some groups had already been up Grandeur that morning, so what the heck,…
